Built in Ovens

A built-in oven is installed directly into a tall cabinet or under-counter unit in your kitchen, sitting flush with your cabinetry at a comfortable height rather than taking up counter space like a standalone oven. With over 25 years of experience designing built-in ovens for Indian kitchens, KAFF is one of the country’s most established names in this category, offering four distinct series: Cassino, Clifton, Mazzini, and Collection, across capacities from 37L to 81L, so there’s a model suited to almost any household size and baking habit.

Customer Reviews

See what our customers are saying about their KAFF experience.

"The baking results are phenomenal. Cakes and breads come out perfectly even every single time. KAFF's 25 years of experience really shows in the build quality and heat distribution. Absolutely love it!"

Megha Desai

"Looks absolutely beautiful in my new modular kitchen. The modern design is a showstopper. I'm giving it 4 stars only because the digital touch controls took a couple of days to fully master, but it works like a charm now."

Ravi Shankar

"Perfect for large family gatherings! The inner capacity is excellent, and roasting chicken or grilling veggies is so quick. The rotisserie feature is a fantastic addition. Highly recommend it to anyone upgrading their kitchen."

Kritika Jain

"Solid performance and heats up very quickly. The fast pre-heat function is a major time saver for busy mornings. It is slightly on the expensive side, and the installation team was a bit delayed, but the oven itself is fantastic."

Anil Thomas

"Been using this KAFF built-in oven for over 6 months now. It's truly a great cooking mate just like they advertise. Pizzas get that perfect crust and the cooling fan works quietly. Very satisfied with the purchase."

Sonal Gupta

"What impressed me most is how easy it is to clean the enamel interiors after a messy grilling session. It is reliable, energy-efficient, and definitely lives up to the brand's reputation as a leader in India."

Pramod Reddy

What Is a Built-in Oven and How Is It Different from an OTG?

A built-in oven is recessed into cabinetry with a trim kit and heat-resistant housing, wired directly into your kitchen’s electrical system and often controlled via a digital or touch panel. An OTG (oven-toaster-griller) is a freestanding countertop appliance you plug into any socket and can move around. Built-in ovens generally offer more precise temperature control, multiple cooking functions (bake, grill, roast, convection, defrost), and a larger, more consistent cooking cavity than most OTGs, along with the design advantage of sitting flush within your kitchen rather than occupying counter space.

Understanding KAFF’s Oven Series — Cassino, Clifton, Mazzini

  • Cassino - Entry-to-mid segment, strong core baking and grilling functions for everyday use
  • Clifton - Mid-range, expanded function sets and refined design finishes
  • Mazzini - Premium segment, advanced cooking programs and higher-capacity options

Each series is designed to different budget and feature expectations, so rather than comparing ovens purely on price, it’s worth deciding which series’ feature set (and design finish) matches how you actually plan to cook, then choosing the capacity within that series that fits your household.

Choosing Capacity — 37L to 81L Explained by Household Size

  • 37L – 60L : Individuals, couples, or small families who bake occasionally alongside grilling and reheating
  • 70L – 73L : Families of four to five who bake regularly, including cakes, roasts, and larger trays
  • 80L – 81L : Larger families or households that entertain frequently and need to cook multiple dishes or larger cuts of meat at once

As with built-in microwave ovens, always confirm your chosen model’s exact cabinet cut-out dimensions against your kitchen carpentry plan before installation, since capacity and cut-out size vary together across the range. See our oven size guide for a closer breakdown by kitchen type.

Convection vs Standard Baking — Which Function Do You Need?

A standard electric oven heats using top and bottom heating elements, which can create uneven results if a dish isn’t rotated during baking. A convection oven adds a fan that circulates hot air throughout the cavity, resulting in more even heat distribution, often slightly faster cooking times, and better browning on multiple trays at once. If you bake regularly — cakes, cookies, bread, or multiple trays at a time — a convection function is genuinely useful. If you mainly use your oven for occasional roasting or reheating, a standard bake function may be sufficient.

Everyday Uses in an Indian Kitchen

Beyond Western-style baking, a built-in oven is genuinely useful for everyday Indian cooking — roasting a whole tandoori chicken or fish, baking naan or other flatbreads, slow-roasting vegetables, and reheating leftovers evenly without drying them out the way a microwave sometimes can. Many households also use the grill function for dishes like grilled paneer or kebabs, making the oven a multi-purpose appliance rather than one reserved only for occasional cake-baking.

Installation & Modular Kitchen Fit

Built-in ovens are typically installed in a tall column unit at eye level, often paired with a built-in microwave oven or built-in coffee machine in the same column for a cohesive design — or under the counter if your kitchen layout calls for it. This needs to be planned with your kitchen designer or carpenter before cabinets are finalised, since the cut-out size, electrical point, and ventilation requirements vary by model and capacity. For a step-by-step walkthrough, see our guide on how to install a built-in oven.

Why KAFF — 25 Years of Built-in Oven Expertise

KAFF has spent over 25 years focused specifically on built-in ovens designed for Indian kitchens and modular cabinetry standards, which is reflected in the breadth of our range — four series and six capacity options — built to suit everything from compact apartments to large family kitchens. Every KAFF built-in oven comes with comprehensive warranty coverage on products and parts, backed by a nationwide customer service network reachable at 1800-180-2221 for both pre-purchase guidance and post-purchase installation and service support. Customers consistently point to build quality, consistent baking results, and the range of series and capacities available as reasons they’ve chosen KAFF over other built-in oven brands. See our 2026 buyer’s breakdown of the best built-in ovens in India for a deeper model-by-model comparison.

Care & Maintenance Tips

Clean spills and splatters after each use while the oven is still warm (but not hot) to prevent them from baking onto the cavity surface, which becomes much harder to remove later. If your model has a self-clean or easy-clean interior coating, follow the manufacturer’s specific cleaning instructions rather than using abrasive cleaners that could damage the coating. Check and clean the door seal periodically, as a damaged seal can affect heat retention and cooking consistency over time.
